Selling During the Season—the Holiday Season That Is

Well we’re smack dab in the middle of the holidays, although if you are taking your cues from the stores you would have thought that the season started in September.

But no, we’re really here now. Parties, gift giving, shopping, vacations and so forth…”tis the season” and all that.

But is anyone singing “tis the season to be selling”. I don’t think so…but why not?

Not everyone goes on vacation. There are plenty of people in the office attending to the tasks at hand and being downright productive.

Lots of people stop selling and so you might as well be unique in your efforts. Just imagine, you might even be able to get through on the telephone or have your email read. Yep, everyone’s kickback demeanor can actually help you.

It’s the end of the year and a new year provides you with an excellent platform for your conversation. Let’s face it, sometimes it is a bit difficult to figure out how to start a call.

Of course you might be going on vacation yourself but even so, there has to be at least a few days when you are in the office.

Pull out your prospecting list and get to it. It just might be a productive use of your time.
