The Weather in Winnipeg Sucks. How Are Your Sales?

Have you checked the weather in Winnipeg lately? It’s pretty awful UNLESS you like continual sub-zero temperatures matched by almost endless snowfall. If you like that sort of weather then you’ll find Winnipeg to be a dream come true but for me, not so much.

Anyway, I have Winnipeg programmed into my iPhone. I have many other places as well but for most, I have some “reason” to keep them front and center on my phone. It might be a place in which someone that I know lives or a place that I will be visiting on vacation. But Winnipeg, it’s totally random or…is it?

Truth be told I have Winnipeg programmed into my phone because it helps me to keep the sucky NYC weather in perspective.  It might be ugly here but rest assured it is much uglier in Winnipeg (unless of course you appreciate the polar vortex).

And ya know what, it might be really lame, but it sort of helps. I feel down because of the snow and I check Winnipeg. The weather forecast calls for 10 degree temps and well, I check Winnipeg. It’s my go-to app for instant gratification:)

  • Sales are down and winning new prospects seems an exercise in futility

  • Cash flow is at an all-time low

You get the drill. Things are bad but they could be, yes, worse.
