5000 Ways to Build Your Business
Okay, that was a come on. I’m not going to give you 5,000 ways to build your business, not really.
But if you do the math 5,000 ways equates to approximately 13 action items per day. Yep, weekends too, unless of course you decide to execute more on some of your work days and then, well, it’s done.
So here’s what I mean:
Too many people gripe and moan about their lack of business:
- They keep going back to the same old well of prospects without consistently adding new contacts
- They don’t develop new product offerings and therefore offer “same old” and predictable deliverables
- They count on social media to make their numbers (Hint: old fashioned tactics work!)
- They complain that they are too busy doing the work and have no time to grow the business. (Hint: without consistent business development initiatives you will suffer from a peak and valley revenue stream)
So here’s a suggestion:
Take small bites. Yes, small bites each and every day, specifically 13 action items per day including:
- Proactive email outreach to clients, prospects and referral sources and calls too (hooray for the phone!)
- Old fashioned sales letters and direct mail too
- Social media
- Strategic networking
And do this “stuff” daily…in fact, do it THIRTEEN times a day each and every day and watch your new business and sales revenues grow.
