Sales Training for Those That "Know it All"

I’ve been a sales trainer for 27 years and have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. From clients where everyone comes to the sessions eager, ready and willing to learn to those in which the participants are negative and downright hostile, I guess you can use that tired old cliche “been there, done that.” Still I love what I do and always get a charge out of imparting some new tips or reinforcing old techniques. It’s all good.

As for those that “know it all,” well, I have extra fun with them. Knowing it all isn’t the goal. Using it all, now, there’s an objective for you.

What good is it if you “know” how to prospect effectively, overcome objections, close the sales…all of those topics we sales trainers include in most of our programs.

You can know them sure, but use them, well, there’s the issue. Knowledge does nothing if it isn’t put into practice and so for the sales reps that know it all, I can play a valuable role for you as well.

I can encourage you to use the skills, get you enthusiastic about the outcomes, reinforce what you already have in your toolbox and make you see how deploying these tactics will get you better results.

  • Sales training will keep you on your toes and remind you of good habits while serving to encourage you to drop the bad.
  • Sales training will motivate you to reach higher goals.
  • Sales training will help you to bond with your fellow sales reps.

So it’s okay if you “know it all” because experienced sales trainers like myself have encountered that before.  We like to work with seasoned professionals and if you can remain open-minded and receptive, we just might be able to share a new trick or two.
